About the Baker

I have loved sweets and baking them my whole life.  Back in 2005, I attended the Western Culinary Institute's Le Cordon Bleu Baking program in Portland, OR; where I nurtured my love for baking .  From there, I went on to my six week externship at the Sun River Resort in Bend, OR.  After I returned home to Vancouver, WA; I worked at Tommy O's Hawaiian Bistro; where I work as Dessert Chef, I was able to work with Tommy to create exciting and new desserts. Once my time was done at Tommy O's, I went on to work at the Main Street Bakery.  I learned so much about baking from Chris and Kristy (its too bad the business is closed).  Shortly after, my boyfriend and I decided we were going to get married.  I planned and cooked for my entire wedding; with my best friend Emily and my awesome Mother at my side.  We made my 4 tier wedding cake, 50 cupcakes and baked approximtly 350 cookies for my guests to enjoy.  I have always baked cookies for my friends and family's birthdays, as well as for the Holidays; and everytime I did, everyone says the same thing...

"Jensina, these cookies are so yummy, 
you should open your own Bakery and sell these cookies!"

Opening my own business seemed like the next reasonable step.
